Description

ADESIVER ELASTIC is a high-performance, single-component wood adhesive formulated with a hydro-curing prepolymer and silane-modified (MS) technology. Designed for professional use, this advanced wood glue offers excellent flexibility and strong bonding capabilities, making it ideal for installing pre-finished wooden flooring on a variety of substrates. It is highly recommended for use on non-porous surfaces such as marble, ceramic, grit, and marble-chip floor tiles.

Thanks to its elastic properties, ADESIVER ELASTIC accommodates the natural movement of wood, providing a durable and stable bond over time. It is also perfectly suited for use over underfloor heating and cooling systems, ensuring reliable adhesion while withstanding temperature fluctuations and thermal expansion. This makes it an excellent choice for modern flooring installations that demand both performance and versatility.

How to Use

Before use, mix the product until it is uniform. The subfloor must be dry, free from cracks, uniform and completely clean from anything that can damage its adherence. 65% of the wooden floor must have glue coverage to ensure proper adhesion.

Primer usually is not required, if the substrate is problematic (for example: absence of an impermeable layer, fragile surfaces, ignition cycle on radiant heating not carried out, anhydrite substrate, etc.), we recommend using the primer in order to improve the characteristics of the substrate.

When installing a subfloor with radiant floor heating, a primer is typically necessary to ensure proper adhesion and effectiveness of the flooring material. Apply one coat of PRYMER SF 1105 (see technical data sheet) and after 24 hours proceed with the application of the wood glue.

If you need to glue the wooden floor onto glazed subfloors (such as ceramic, polished marble, etc.) clean the surface. Sand the surface of anhydrite subfloors thoroughly using 24 or 36 grit sandpaper.

Allow the wood glue to reach room temperature before applying it to the surface. Sand the floor after 3-4 days, depending on the atmospheric conditions and humidity level of the wood species used.  You can use a cleaning cloth to remove any excess glue. Properly seal the lid to ensure there is no waste of leftover product.
